Bhangar, West bengal:
Three individuals had been killed as a fireplace broke out at a market in West Bengal’s South 24 Parganas district within the early hours of Saturday, officers stated.
A short-circuit brought on the fireplace that first broke out at a kerosene outlet within the Ghatakpukur Bazar space in Bhangar, round 20 km from Kolkata, they stated.
Drums of kerosene stocked within the store began exploding, following which the flames unfold to an adjoining eatery, a store and a home, they stated.
The proprietor of the eatery, in his early 50s, together with two youngsters who used to work in it went contained in the store with a purpose to avoid wasting valuables and douse the blaze, officers stated.
However, they could not come out in time and had been killed. It took 5 hours for 3 fireplace tenders to deliver the blaze underneath management, officers stated.
Goods value lakhs of rupees had been destroyed within the fireplace, they stated.
