Following instructions from the MHRD, the Allahabad University (AU) on Friday requested its whole instructing and non-teaching staff to work from home till July 31, stated a varsity official.
The transfer comes barely 10 days after the varsity had requested all staff to work from campus.
The notification issued by registrar prof NK Shukla mentions that with reference to the Central pointers for Unlock-2 by MHRD (division of upper training) dated June 30 and UGC’s letter dated July 1 concerning the security of all involved within the college and constituent schools AU has determined to take a number of steps, stated AU PRO, Shailendra Mishra.

Also varsity authorities have instructed that Aarogya Setu app be put in by all college students, college members and staff for simple identification of potential threat of an infection from Covid-19.

All college members, researchers and non-teaching staff have been requested to present their contact particulars ie e-mail id, cell quantity and so on to their reporting officers in order that they might be contacted in case of emergency.
