Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has partnered with Facebook to offer pupil training on digital safety and on-line nicely being and trainer training on augmented/ digital reality. The rising use of web amongst college students for on-line lessons, e- studying within the time of Coronavirus poses a risk of on-line abuse, bullying, misinformation, faux information and web dependancy amongst them. Thus, CBSE has partnered with Facebook India to launch free and complete training program for teachers and college students of its affiliated faculties within the first part from August to November 2020 in digital mode. The individuals may also obtain a joint e- certificates from CBSE and Facebook on profitable completion of the course.
The training program can be of three weeks during which 10,000 teachers can be skilled on augmented reality and 10,000 college students can be skilled on digital safety and well-being. Under the digital safety class, college students can be skilled about digital safety and Instagram Toolkit. The registration course of can be held from July 6 to 20. The programme for teachers can be launched on August 10 whereas the scholars training will start from August 6.
Moreover, within the second part, CBSE will introduce the training program on digital safety and augmented reality for 30,000 college students in every class.
