PM Modi stated the choice to increase distribution of free foodgrains and pulses beneath the Pradhan Mantri Garib Anna Yojana (PMGKAY) to 81 crore PDS beneficiaries for 5 months until November is aimed toward addressing the issues of the poor and empower them throughout the coronavirus disaster.
“Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana has been extended till November. This will benefit 81 crore people of the country,” he identified.
