In response to the Union Ministry of Home Affairs’ (MHA) name to a few IPS officers from West Bengal for Central deputation, Mamata Banerjee authorities on Sunday mentioned “they can’t spare these officials”, a authorities supply informed ANI.
“Union Home Ministry has received a response from the government of West Bengal on three IPS officials who were called for Central deputation. The West Bengal government has said that they can’t spare these officials for Central deputation,” the official mentioned.
This has come after Home Ministry referred to as three officers for Central deputation. Officers Bholanath Pandey (SP, Diamond Harbour), Rajeev Mishra (ADG, South Bengal), and Praveen Kumar Tripathi (DIG, Presidency Range) have been referred to as on deputation by MHA, these officers have been allegedly in cost when the assault on BJP President JP Nadda’s convoy passed off on Thursday.
Sources mentioned the Centre can name Central providers officers on deputation and so they can also face some severe disciplinary motion for any lapses.
They mentioned the state has no position as IAS and IPS officers’ cadre controlling authority is DoPT and MHA respectively.
The convoy of Nadda, who was on a two-day go to to West Bengal, was attacked on Thursday and a number of other BJP leaders together with Kailash Vijayvargiya have been injured when protesters pelted stones at their automobiles at Diamond Harbour in West Bengal.
The Ministry of Home Affairs had summoned the state Chief Secretary and Director General of Police (DGP) over the regulation and order state of affairs within the state. However, the West Bengal authorities determined to not ship them.
The MHA had earlier sought a report from West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar over the regulation and order state of affairs within the state.
