The CBI has recovered over Rs 50 lakh in money throughout searches on Monday from one of many accused in a bank-fraud case towards an actual property agency, who was just lately charged by the central probe company, officers stated.
The company has performed searches at 11 places in a number of cities after registering a case towards the Nashik-based Sun Infrastructure Limited for inflicting a lack of round Rs 23.86 crore to the State Bank of India, they stated.
The searches have been carried out in Mumbai, Nashik, Bengaluru and Nagpur, the officers stated.
It is alleged that the corporate was concerned in monetary bunglings and diversion of the funds for functions aside from the mortgage situations, they added.
