An earthquake of magnitude 4.5 was reported close to Delhi on Friday night, in accordance with India’s National Center for Seismology.
The epicentre of the earthquake was 63 km southwest of Gurgaon in Haryana, the company mentioned.
The earthquake struck at 7:00:48 PM IST at a depth of 5 km from the floor.
Strong tremors have been felt in Delhi and surrounding areas for a number of seconds.
