Air India on Friday stated that its monetary state of affairs may be very difficult and is taking recourse to a number of initiatives with a view to making sure the continuance of its operations.
Air India has launched the Leave Without Pay (LWP) Scheme on July 14, 2020. The scheme primarily permits workers to avail of the advantages of continuing on depart with out pay on a voluntary foundation.
“The LWP scheme has been introduced for grant of leave without pay and allowances for permanent employees for a period of six months/two years, which is extendable up to 5 years,” Air India stated.
