New Delhi:
The first batch of 5 Rafale jets has flown out of France as we speak and can arrive in India on Wednesday, July 29, when the fighter jets will formally be inducted and be a part of the Indian Air Force fleet in Haryana’s Ambala.
The 5 plane would be the first tranche of the 36 planes purchased by India from France in an inter-governmental deal in 2016.
The plane will probably be refuelled mid-air and on land at French airbase within the United Arab Emirates on their strategy to India.
