New Delhi:
India on Monday handed over 10 broad-gauge diesel locomotives to Bangladesh, strengthening the neighbouring nation’s railway infrastructure.
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar flagged off the locomotives on-line within the presence of Railway Minister Piyush Goyal and several other dignitaries from throughout the border.
The locomotives, flagged off nearly from Bengal’s Gede station within the Nadia district, was obtained by Bangladesh on the border station in Darshana.
