India will always remember the cowardly assault on its Parliament, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated on Sunday as he paid tributes to safety personnel who laid down their lives within the terror assault on this present day in 2001.
“We will never forget the cowardly attack on our Parliament on this day in 2001. We recall the valour and sacrifice of those who lost their lives protecting our Parliament. India will always be thankful to them,” he tweeted.

Nine individuals, together with eight safety personnel, died within the assault by terrorists belonging to Pakistan-based outfits. All 5 terrorists have been killed by safety forces.
The incident led to excessive degree of stress between India and Pakistan and an enormous improve within the safety of the Parliament.
