The Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) on Tuesday stated it has acquired the official clearance from the BCCI to host the IPL 2020 within the UAE from September 19 to November 10.
The growth comes a day after IPL chairman Brijesh Patel informed PTI that the BCCI has acquired all obligatory clearances from the Indian authorities to stage the league within the UAE. The world’s largest T20 league has been moved out of India due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The ECB had been ready for the BCCI’s remaining go forward earlier than intensifying its preparations for the tournament.
