Former Kerala leg-spinner KN Ananthapadmanabhan has been promoted to the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) worldwide panel of umpires. Ananthapadmanabhan would be the fourth Indian umpire on the worldwide panel and fills the emptiness created by Nitin Menon’s transfer to the ICC Elite Panel, ESPNcricinfo reported.
