The IMA or Indian Medical Association on Tuesday demanded withdrawal of a Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM) notification authorising post-graduate Ayurveda practitioners to be skilled to carry out normal surgical procedures, saying the transfer was a “khichadification”, or a confused combine, of medical schooling and follow.
