Members of Parliament might be requested to get themselves examined for COVID-19 no less than 72 hours earlier than the beginning of the Monsoon Session of Parliament, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla stated right now.
The Monsoon Session is more likely to begin from September 14 and conclude on October 1.
Besides MPs, all those that are anticipated to enter the Parliament premises, together with officers from ministries, representatives from the media and workers of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha secretariats, will get examined for the coronavirus earlier than the beginning of the session, Om Birla stated.
