Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the National Digital Health Mission at this time, whereas addressing the nation on the event of Independence Day from Delhi’s Red Fort.
Stating that the “completely technology-based” initiative would revolutionise the well being sector, the Prime Minister stated each Indian would get an ID card that may include all related details about his/her medical situations.
“Every Indian will get a Health ID card. Every time you visit a doctor or a pharmacy, everything will be logged in this health card in your profile on a national scale. From the doctor’s appointment to the medication advised, everything will be available in your health profile,” PM Modi stated.
