Over 15 bikes have been dropped at a police station right here on Wednesday and their house owners questioned over the demise of a 20-year-old girl, who was visiting dwelling from the US, in a Bulandshahr street accident, police stated.
Information has additionally been sought on all Bullet bikes registered within the district from the assistant regional transport officer (ARTO), they added.
The police stated 15-20 bike house owners have been questioned.
The girl, Sudiksha Bhati, died Monday morning close to Aurangabad when she was using pillion on a bike together with her youthful brother. She was pursuing a commencement course in entrepreneurship on the Babson College, Massachusetts (US), and was scheduled to return on August 20.
Her household has alleged that the accident occurred as a result of two motorcycle-borne males have been following her two-wheeler and harassing her.
In a purported video that has surfaced on social media, Ms Bhati’s brother stated, “We were on a motorcycle at a speed of 30 km per hour. The men on the Bullet were riding near us and applied brakes on their vehicle suddenly…The Bullet had ”Jat Boys” inscribed on its number plate and its number started with UP-13.”
The Bulandshahr Senior Superintendent of Police has constituted a three-member SIT, led by Circle Officer (metropolis) Diksha Singh, to probe the matter.
The district police has filed an FIR in opposition to two unidentified folks on the idea of a grievance by Sudiksha’s father Jitendra Bhati.
