After two terrorists have been killed and one other was captured in Poonch district on Sunday, Jammu and Kashmir Police chief Dilbag Singh stated Pakistan made one other try to push LeT and JeM terrorists into Kashmir to disturb the continuing District Development Council (DDC) polls. The Director General of Police (DGP) complimented the joint staff of police and armed forces that gunned down the 2 infiltrating Pakistani terrorists and captured one other.
“Another attempt (was made) by Pakistan to send in LeT-JeM terrorists to Kashmir to disturb the ongoing democratic process of grassroots level elections,” Singh advised PTI. He stated that it reveals Pakistan’s desperation due to large participation of individuals within the ongoing elections.

The terrorists have been trapped in a snow-bound space in distant Chattapani-Dugran village and have been requested to give up however they refused and as an alternative fired indiscriminately on the safety forces in an try to break the cordon.
The safety forces retaliated and killed two of them. Another terrorist was captured alive through the gunfight. Both the Pakistani terrorists have been killed within the encounter, he stated.
On November 19, 4 closely armed terrorists have been killed in an encounter with safety forces at Nagrota once they have been travelling to Kashmir in a truck with the purpose of disrupting the DDC polls, police had stated. The terrorists had the backing of Pakistan and had infiltrated into Jammu and Kashmir for inflicting disturbances within the DDC elections that started on November 28.
