Congress chief Rahul Gandhi on Friday lauded the defence forces for his or her valour in defending the nation and defeating Pakistan’s plans.

Four safety forces personnel have been amongst 11 individuals killed in a number of ceasefire violations by Pakistani troops alongside the LoC from Gurez to Uri sectors of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday.
Srinagar-based defence spokesman Col Rajesh Kalia stated Pakistan used mortars and different weapons and intentionally focused civilian areas.
The troops retaliated strongly inflicting casualties and substantial injury to Pakistan Army’s infrastructure throughout the LoC, he stated.
“Several ammunition dumps, FOL dumps and multiple terrorist launch pads have been damaged,” the defence spokesman stated.
Three Army personnel, a BSF sub-inspector and 6 civilians have been killed in Pakistani motion, whereas 4 safety forces personnel and eight civilians have been injured.
“Pakistan initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation along the LoC spread across multiple sectors to include Dawar, Keran, Uri and Naugam. Three Indian Army soldiers have been killed in action and three soldiers injured,” Col Kalia stated, including the nation salutes their supreme sacrifice.
A BSF sub-inspector was killed in Haji Peer sector whereas a jawan was injured, officers stated.
Two civilians have been killed in Kamalkote sector, additionally in Uri, whereas a girl was killed in Balkote space in Haji Peer sector, they added.
