Maharashtra Minister Eknath Shinde on Monday commissioned a programme in Thane metropolis to manage fast antigen exams to detect COVID-19 rapidly.
The Thane Municipal Corporation has positioned an order for one lakh fast antigen check kits, which can provide leads to 30 minutes, an official stated, including that exams can be carried out on a large-scale in hotspots, slum clusters and many others utilizing these kits.
Municipal Commissioner Vipin Sharma stated the rise in circumstances was due to the rise in variety of exams, including that 80 per cent of sufferers within the metropolis have been asymptomatic.
