Union Home Minister Amit Shah will visit West Bengal at regular intervals earlier than the 2021 Assembly elections, sources within the BJP mentioned on Tuesday.
According to a a senior occasion chief, Shah will visit the state for per week each month from February subsequent 12 months. From February onwards, Shah will spend a week in the state every month,” mentioned the occasion chief. On Sunday, Shah concluded a two-day journey of the state and launched a scathing assault on the TMC authorities.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will tackle the centenary celebrations of the Visva-Bharati University December 24 by way of video-conferencing.
“Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will address the centenary celebrations of the Visva-Bharati University, Shantiniketan on December 24, 2020, at 11 am via video-conferencing. The Governor of West Bengal and Union Education Minister will also be present on the occasion,” mentioned a press launch.
