“States not to impose any local lockdown outside containment zones. State or Union Territory governments shall not impose any local lockdown (state, district, sub-division, city or village level) outside the containment zones, without prior consultation with the central government,” the order stated.
It stated the containment zones will likely be demarcated by the district authorities at a micro stage after bearing in mind the Home Ministry’s tips to successfully break the chain of coronavirus transmission.
Within the containment zones, strict perimeter management will likely be maintained and solely important actions are allowed. The authorities stated the containment zones will likely be up to date on the web sites of the district collectors.

“National directives for COVID-19 management shall continue to be followed throughout the country, with a view to ensure social distancing. Other key updates within the Unlock4 tips embody resumption of metro rail service and permitting open-air theatres to run with a most attendance of 100 folks.
“Metro rail will be allowed to operate with effect from September 7 in a graded manner, by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs and Ministry of Railways in consultation with MHA. In this regard, standard operating procedure will be issued,” the Home Ministry stated.
