West Tripura District Surveillance Officer Dr Sangita Chakraborty went to the Covid Care Centre arrange on the Bhagat Singh Youth Hostel on Friday to confess 5 girls with new child infants when a bunch of sufferers mentioned they’d not permit any new admission, alleging that the power had reached full occupancy, the police mentioned.

Dr Kanak Chowdhury, common secretary of ATGDA, West Tripura district unit, mentioned, “The patients not only abused her (Chakraborty) but also tried to infect her with deadly coronavirus. They spat on her with the motive of infecting her.”
