Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, who met Home Minister Amit Shah just lately, has self-isolated himself as a protocol, sources stated.
The Union Law Minister doesn’t have any signs and the self-isolation is solely based mostly on present protocol, they added.
Mr Prasad had met the Home Minister on Saturday, a day earlier than Mr Shah introduced that he had contracted the virus.
Mr Shah, who has been on the forefront of the combat in opposition to the virus that has contaminated over 18 lakh individuals in India, tweeted on Sunday to tell that he has contracted the lethal illness.
“On getting the initial symptoms of coronavirus, I got the test done and the report came back positive. My health is fine, but I am being admitted to the hospital on the advice of doctors. I request that all of you who have come in contact with me in the last few days, please isolate yourself and get your inquiry done,” Mr Shah’s tweet in Hindi stated.
Mr Prasad replied to the minister’s tweet wishing him a speedy restoration.
“Amit Shah ji! It is a prayer to God that you will soon be healthy and start serving the country with the same energy again,” Mr Prasad replied in Hindi.
The Home Minister has been admitted to Medanta hospital in Haryana’s Gurgaon, close to Delhi, sources stated.
Mr Shah, 55, had taken half in a cupboard assembly a number of days in the past. Sources stated in depth contact tracing will likely be carried out and anybody who got here involved with the minister must self-isolate.
