End of time period exams in schools and academic establishments, pending since March due to the lockdown to sluggish the coronavirus an infection, can now be held, sustaining the security measures, the Union Home Ministry has mentioned. The ministry as we speak wrote to the Higher Education Secretary, allowing the lengthy pending exams.
The last time period examinations are to be compulsorily performed as per the UGC Guidelines and tutorial calendar for the Universities and as per the Standard Operating Procedure authorised by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the letter mentioned.

Recently, the Gujarat authorities reversed its choice to conduct last 12 months examinations, inside hours of asserting it.
The Rajasthan authorities has cancelled under-graduate and post-graduate exams in all state universities.
Yesterday, Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal “Nishank” had requested the University Grants Commission to “revisit” the tutorial calendar and tips launched in April. The basis for revisited tips might be “health and safety students, teachers, and staff”, Mr. Pokhriyal mentioned on social media.
