After a massacre which noticed eight cops from Uttar Pradesh killed in an enormous ambush, gangster Vikas Dubey was arrested this morning at a well-known temple in Madhya Pradesh.
Mr Dubey, mentioned to be in his 50’s, shouted out his title as he was arrested by the police. “Main Vikas Dubey hoon, Kanpur wala! (I’m Vikas Dubey from Kanpur),” he yelled on the temple in Ujjain.
Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra mentioned that Mr Dubey drove into the state with two aides; he had a faux ID which declared his final title as “Paul”.
On Friday, a workforce of policemen arrived at Mr Dubey’s house within the village of Bikru, round 150 kms from Lucknow, to arrest him in reference to a sequence of legal instances together with homicide. The gangster and his aides had been warned of the raid. From rooftops, pictures rang out. Eight policemen have been killed.
Mr Dubey disappeared. In the times that adopted, two policemen have been arrested for allegedly colluding with him to permit his escape; a reward of 1 lakh was hiked to 2.5 lakhs because the gangster remained on the run.
At least 4 of his aides have been discovered, together with a nephew, and killed by the cops.
This morning, he was seen entering a temple devoted to Lord Mahakal in Ujjain, almost 800 kms from his house. A safety guard claims that Mr Dubey was seen when he tried to enter from the rear of the shrine and the police was alerted.
