A U.S. choose on Monday blocked a Trump administration rule that will strip protections for transgender folks dealing with healthcare discrimination.
New York-based U.S. District Court Judge Frederic Block dominated that the proposed regulation issued by the Department of Health and Human Services couldn’t go into impact on Tuesday as deliberate.
The administration’s rule says federal legislation that bars discrimination in healthcare “on the basis of sex” doesn’t cowl gender id or intercourse stereotyping.
