Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday introduced the identify of the Jewar airport, situated on the outskirts of Delhi, as “Noida International Greenfield Airport, Jewar”, and mentioned it shall be “one of the best airports in the world and that his government will leave no stone unturned to make it world class”.

Surendra Singh mentioned concessionaire YIAPL had on December four offered the grasp plan of the airport earlier than NIAL, which has submitted it to the Union Ministry of Civil Aviation for testing.

The Zurich International Airport AG, a Swiss non-public firm, was awarded the contract for airport building on 1,334-hectare land at the price of Rs 29,650 crore.
