The Congress and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), that are a part of the ruling coalition in Maharashtra, on Friday stated they might strive to make sure that the farm sector reform payments are usually not applied within the state.
Speaking in Pune, deputy Chief Minister and NCP chief Ajit Pawar stated farmers in addition to the NCP and different events are against the brand new payments.

State Congress leaders will meet Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari on September 28 over the issue, while on October 2, a state-wide ”dharna” agitation will be held against the new bills, he added.
The Congress wanted both farm sector bills as well as the labour reform bills to be scrapped, Mr Thorat said.
“The new payments purpose to scrap the Agriculture Produce Market Committees (APMCs). The authorities desires to demolish the APMC system and hand over the advertising system to merchants.
Due to this, farmers won’t get the minimal help worth. Even the (outdated) labour safety legal guidelines are being scrapped,” he alleged.
