Amid the disaster within the Congress authorities in Rajasthan, senior BJP chief and former Lok Sabha speaker Sumitra Mahajan mentioned younger management shouldn’t be uncared for in politics and claimed her occasion had began considering on this path.
She mentioned the younger also needs to get a chance to indicate their skills in politics.
Queried on the flip of occasions in Rajasthan, Ms Mahajan (77) mentioned, “There is an internal battle (in the Congress) going on in Rajasthan. But the time has come that there should be no neglect of youth leadership (in politics). BJP, in a way, has started thinking that young leaders should not be ignored. The young should also get a chance to show their abilities in politics.”
Ms Mahajan, a former MP from Indore who didn’t contest the 2019 Lok Sabha polls as she had crossed 75 years of age, didn’t give a direct touch upon the Rajasthan disaster claiming it was Congress’ “internal problem”.
Before interacting with the media, Ms Mahajan launched the BJP’s “Har Har Modi, Ghar Ghar Tulsi” marketing campaign in Sanver, the place a bypoll might be held after MLA Tulsiram Silawat give up the Assembly in addition to the Congress and joined the BJP.
