Mumbai:
The Maharashtra authorities has made a provision of Rs 1.77 crore in the direction of extra security measures on the Nagpur residence of Chief Justice of India Sharad Arvind Bobde.
The provision has been made within the supplementary calls for of the regulation and judiciary division tabled within the state Legislature on Monday.

Nagpur is the hometown of CJI Bobde.
In the calls for of the state Public Works Department, Rs 5.75 crore has been earmarked for building and associated works at Raj Bhavan and one other Rs 6.16 crore for building and associated works at residential premises of judges.
The state authorities has allotted Rs 2,211 crore to offer reduction to farmers hit by pure calamities and Rs 22 crore for COVID-19 vaccine air-con services because it tabled Rs 21,992.50 crore supplementary calls for within the meeting on Monday.
Supplementary calls for are extra grants required to satisfy the expenditure of the federal government.
The winter session of the Legislature, historically held in Nagpur – the second capital of the state – is being held in Mumbai in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.
