Apple as we speak introduced that upcoming neo-noir psychological thriller “Losing Alice” will debut on Apple TV+ on Friday, January 22. The first three episodes will premiere on that date, with the ultimate 5 episodes following weekly.
Written and directed by Sigal Avin, “Losing Alice” follows getting old director Alice and her rising obsession with younger screenwriter Sophie.
Using flashbacks and flash-forwards in a satisfyingly advanced narrative that takes the viewer by the acutely aware and unconscious of its protagonist’s thoughts, the collection follows Alice (performed by Ayelet Zurer), a 48-year-old feminine movie director, who feels irrelevant since elevating her household. After a quick encounter on the practice, she turns into obsessive about a 24-year-old screenwriter femme fatale, Sophie (performed by Lihi Kornowski), and finally surrenders her ethical integrity to be able to obtain energy, relevance and success. In addition to Ayelet Zurer, the collection stars Lihi Kornowski, Gal Toren, Yossi Marshak, Shai Avivi and Chelli Goldenberg.
“Losing Alice” is the newest in a collection of Apple Originals from the world over, together with Israeli thriller “Tehran,” upcoming worldwide espionage thriller “Slow Horses,” “Pachinko” based mostly on the best-selling novel, and “Suspicion,” based mostly on Israeli collection “False Flag.”
